Siemens Technology-to-Business (TTB) practices “outside-in” innovation for Siemens, seeking out the latest technology innovations from startup companies, individual inventors, universities and research labs. My work included the following activities within the innovation field of autonomous machines: Scouting of start-ups and transferring innovation to Siemens’ business units, technical due diligence, technology landscaping and the organization of an advanced robotics challenge for start-ups: The Robotics Challenge shows how both, Siemens factories and start-ups can benefit. The search is on for an automation solution for circuit board assembly that will be used in Siemens factories around the world.

The WARR Hyperloop team won the main prize for the fastest pod in January 2017 in Hawthorne, CA, USA against competitors from TU Delft and MIT, amongst others. Responsabilities:

  • Development of system architecture and PCB-design for the computer & navigation subsystem
