Open source / biosignal research
Gumpy
A Python toolbox for hybrid brain-computer interfaces and reproducible biosignal experiments.
← Return to city1. What it was
Gumpy brought EEG and EMG processing, offline analysis, online experiments, classical machine learning, and deep-learning workflows into an open Python toolbox.
2. My part
Co-author of the peer-reviewed Journal of Neural Engineering paper and contributor to the toolbox work.
3. Decisions
- Make research workflows available in a familiar Python environment.
- Support both offline exploration and online experimental loops.
- Release the software openly so others can inspect, reproduce, and extend it.
4. Outcome
Published in the Journal of Neural Engineering and released as open-source software.
5. Sources
- Gumpy publication record — DLR electronic library
- Journal article — Journal of Neural Engineering
